Fassa Bortolo Hydrated Lime is the result of hydrating high-purity powdered Quicklime. The exceptional fineness of its particles and its high specific surface area make this product ideal for a wide range of industrial and environmental applications.

Thanks to the soft burning of limestone in our kilns and the strict selection of raw materials, our Hydrated Lime is the result of rapid, complete hydration of calcium oxide, ensuring optimal performance in any context.

Its properties make it the perfect choice for flue gas cleaning in waste-to-energy plants and thermal power stations, wastewater and biological sludge treatment, asphalt modification, applications in construction and green building, as well as use in animal husbandry for bacterial load control.

State-of-the-art production process

Our Hydrated Lime production process begins with the selection of the purest limestone from our own quarries. After calcination in PFRK regenerative kilns – the most energy-efficient technology on the market – the resulting calcium oxide undergoes controlled hydration.

During this stage, Quicklime reacts with water, generating heat and transforming into an ultra-fine white powder with superior chemical-physical properties. Every batch undergoes laboratory testing to guarantee maximum quality and reactivity.

Fassaroad
