We are proud to share a special collaboration between Fassa Bortolo Sistema Calce and Politecnico di Milano, supporting two research projects presented during EEC & EMECR 2026 in Milan (14th European Electric Steelmaking Conference & 5th International Conference on Energy and Material Efficiency and CO₂ Reduction in the Steel Industry).
The studies focused on the role of high-performance lime in the metallurgical process and its contribution to improving the quality, efficiency and sustainability of steel production.
An important opportunity to share knowledge, address industry challenges and promote sustainable and efficient electric steelmaking practices.
The projects were presented by Researcher Gianluca Dall’Osto Ph.D together with Professors Carlo Mapelli and Davide Mombelli, whom we would like to thank for involving us in these projects.
